Avoiding The Causes....

"If cancer specialists were to admit publicly that chemotherapy is of limited usefulness and is often dangerous, the public might demand a radical change in direction—possibly toward unorthodox and nontoxic methods, and toward cancer prevention. ...The use of chemotherapy is even advocated by those members of the establishment who realize how ineffective and dangerous it can be." - Ralph W. Moss, author, The Cancer Industry

You don’t have to get cancer. Some of us purposefully stopped smoking to avoid lung cancer. Did you know that a very wide range of industrial causes of cancer have been identified? Avoiding the causes of cancer is the only way to prevent cancer and to living without cancer.....

Our Miraculous Body!

The human body is a perfect miraculous creation. We are not made to be sick. Our body is endowed with self-healing powers. Clean it up and let it rest, and the body heals itself.

Each patient carries his own doctor inside him
They come to us not knowing that truth
We are at our best when we give the doctor who resides
in each patient a chance to go to work.
.....Dr Albert Shweitzer

Mankind has achieved great accomplishments through science and technology. We have gone to the moon, we make super-computers, super-sonic jets, etc. - all these make us think we are the masters of our destiny. Yet, no matter how impressive our creations are, they cannot compare to the miracle of the human body.

What If You Are Diagnosed With Cancer?

Well, if you have been diagnosed with cancer the news can really knock you out and your life won’t be the same anymore. You will also have so much to know and to learn that the learning curve can be so steep! You may be overwhelmed with so much information that would probably make you feel unsure of which turns to take. There would be times when you will also feel ’lost’, desperately seeking out for that much needed ’helping hand’! Some of these experiences are common, but everyone actually walks a different road on the journey with cancer.Fortunately there is a lot of help out there to guide you to safety.

There are times when there seems to be too much help - too much advice, too many decisions to make. The trick really is... listen to your intuition, feel.. your “gut instinct” or connect to that “small voice within”. Take some time alone to ask yourself questions such as “How do I feel about that?” or “What is really important to me?” Listen for the answers which may come to you when you wake up, although it may take a few days or weeks to be clear.

Cancer gives you permission to evaluate your life and prioritize what is truly important to you. Look at your activities and the people around you to see where you gain or lose energy, and reduce the impact that energy robbers have on your health and on your life. If the problem is from a relationship or work, it may be necessary to make some changes. These decisions aren’t easy, so make sure you have support from other sources. The process is worthwhile when the payoff is your health, so establish your priorities and values, and be prepared to draw a line in the sand to stay within your comfort level.

"Why Me?"

Well, my sister and several friends have gone due to cancer and I also knew many others that have followed the same journey. God bless their souls.. One thing I found in common, the self denial - "Why me?!"...

Why me? Why me!.. It is a question that could put you through many days of mental torture and nightmares! Yet my friends, despite the fact that cancer is a dreaded illness, it can still be managed and perhaps, even cured - if you understand what causes it in the first place! God has decreed that there is a cure to every illness except death and old age!

Sadly however, I realised that many sufferers do not understand much about their own illness and preferred to remain ignorant throughout their entire conventional treatments. It was sadder still when caregivers themselves also chose to remain 'in the dark'!

We all have cancer cells! But how come some got the illness and some don't?! The answer is simple - strong immune system! When our natural defense system is powerful no 'invaders' could survive in our 'hostile' bodies! It is only when our body is weak ie. when our immune system is compromised that 'invaders' thrive and become the aggressors! Many forget that it is OUR OWN BODY, OUR VERY OWN IMMUNE SYSTEM and OUR VERY OWN MIND WHICH ARE THE ACTUAL HEALERS!!

Many things can contribute to cancer. Food we eat, the air we breathe, the liquid we drink... the cosmetics, shampoos, toothpastes, hair dyes, hair sprays, plastic cups, plastic containers, etc, etc.. often contain hidden carcinogens! Genetic hereditary too is responsible! Stress has been known to weaken our immune system so it is important to know how to manage it well. Our state of mind also plays a vital role !

Every day we are bombarded by 'cancer causing' agents! When we go that extra mile to know what factors weaken or strengthen the immune system, that's when we actually begin to understand how our body works which would guide us towards the jouney of healing, albeit the natural way.

What causes cancer?

Hi again!

Seha, another of our local celebrities, 'left us' almost 2 weeks ago - due to lung cancer! .... al-fatiha... and a few days ago, I was informed that a brother-in-law of our local lady chef, has just been diagnosed of lung cancer too - stage 4! Oh dear...

Too many, too often and too frequent we hear of people around us contracting cancer! WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF CANCER?!

Cancer is a deadly disease that afflicts people of all ages and races and vary greatly in cause, symptoms, response to treatment, and possibility of cure.

Cancer is a class of diseases or disorders characterized by uncontrolled division of cells and the ability of these cells to invade other tissues, either by implantation into distant sites by metastasis or by direct growth into adjacent tissue through invasion.

A process called staging is used by physicians to describe the extent or spread of a cancer and which helps to determine the most appropriate treatment to be given.Stage I is early stage cancer with no involvement of lymph nodes and no spread of the cancer from its original site (metastases) and Stage IV is advanced cancer, with both distant metastases and lymph node involvement.

Cancer is the uncontrolled growth and spread of cells that may affect almost any tissue of the body. Stomach cancer, Lung and colorectal cancer are among the five most common cancers in the world for both men and women. Among men, lung and stomach cancer are the most common cancers worldwide. For women, the most common cancers are cervical cancer and breast cancer.

The age of peak incidence of cancer in children occurs during the first year of life. Leukemia (usually ALL) is the most common infant malignancy (30%), followed by neuroblastoma and the central nervous system cancers. The remainder consists of lymphomas, Wilms’ tumor, retinoblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma (arising from muscle), osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma. Cancer can also occur in young children and adolescents. Pediatric cancers, especially leukemia, are on an upward trend. Female and male infants have essentially the same overall cancer incidence rates, but white infants have substantially higher cancer rates than black infants for most cancer types.

More than 11 million people are diagnosed with cancer every year although about 77% of all cases are diagnosed at ages 55 and above. In the USA and other developed countries, cancer is presently responsible for about 25% of all deaths. On a yearly basis, 0.5% of the population is diagnosed with cancer. It is estimated that there will be 16 million new cases every year by 2020. Cancer causes 7 million deaths every year—or 12.5% of deaths worldwide.

Cancer is caused by exposure to environmental factors such as tobacco, smoke, radiation, alcohol and certain viruses. While some of these can be avoided, there is no known way to entirely avoid the disease.

Cancer is largely preventable. It can be prevented by providing healthy food, by stopping smoking and avoiding the exposure to and ingestion of carcinogens. Good management of stress is also important!

The chance of cure increases substantially if cancer is detected early. The best approach to healing cancer would be doing it wholistically ie via mind, body and spirit.

Understand Your Illness!

You know, even after having been at my friend's side throughout her ordeal, ten years ago, the mental trauma didn't hit me then the way it did when I saw how the illness affected my very own sister! I realised then how little I actually knew of the illness! And when you know little, the only recourse ofcourse was to leave it to the medical professionals to decide for you almost completely!

Meanwhile, I provided her with all kinds of vitamins to strenghten her! I took her for ozone therapy. But when her onco knew about it, I was politely advised not to continue. Then, I found out about Dr Chris Teo's CaCare. That's when I met Khad, who is Dr Chris's representative in Kuala Lumpur.

By the way, CaCare is basically an organisation initiated by Dr Chris Teo and his wife. It's primary dedication is to help those with cancer. Dr Chris concocted various herbal remedies using the herb 'keladi tikus' (Rodent Tuber/Typhonium Flagelliforme) which have helped many cancer patients. CaCare's herbal remedies are prescribed at appointed centres throughout Malaysia. Khad runs the CaCare healing 'clinic' at her house in Subang Jaya, Selangor and serves those mainly from the Klang Valley.

Naturally, I gave Dr Chris's herbal remedy for breast cancer to my late sister . Unfortunately, her condition had far advanced and soon after, she 'left' all those who loved her, peacefully. .. Al-fatehah...May God bless her soul...
